Meet the BlueRockIT Team

Bob Longworth

Company Director
Bob is the go-to fixer, known for his innovative approach to problem-solving and his interest in emerging technologies like AI. With a practical mindset, he’s often the one to spot smarter, more efficient ways of working.

Away from work, he’s a DIY enthusiast and a chocolate lover in all its forms. His favourites include Harry Potter, Terminator 2, and The Last of Us. One day, he hopes to explore Canada.

Quirky talent? He can make his pupils shake!

Pete Sims

Company Director
Peter leads from the front, steering the business and keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. He’s the steady hand that makes sure the team has what they need to succeed.

When he’s not at work, you’ll find him painting miniatures, watching Lord of the Rings or Red Dwarf, or rolling dice in a game of D&D. A trained joiner (though he swears he can’t put up a shelf), Peter dreams of riding Route 66 on a Harley.

Fun fact: he can wiggle his ears!

Sandra Carnall

Business Development
Sandra is the team’s sales and marketing powerhouse. She loves getting out into the world to network, meet new customers, and spot opportunities where the team can make a real difference.

Away from the office she’s a competitive bodybuilder. Her favourite watches include the Bournetrilogy, re-runs of Friends, and a bit of Coronation Street. She’s a self-confessed chocolate fan.

Fun fact: she once starred as a zombie in a horror film! If she could pick a dream trip, she’d head back to Mexico, the destination of her honeymoon.

Owen

Desktop Support Engineer
Owen is calm, collected, and quick-witted – the perfect combination for helping customers solve their IT headaches.

He guides people step by step toward solutions, making even the trickiest problems feel manageable.

Outside of work, he’s passionate about cars – modifying, tinkering, and keeping them running. His go-to movie is 2 Fast 2 Furious, and his dream destination is Australia.

Corey

Desktop Support Engineer
Corey supports customers both over the phone and on-site, with the added bonus of making an excellent brew.

A fan of tabletop hobbies and all things geek culture, Corey’s favourites include Blazing Saddles and The Chronicles of the Black Company. He’d love to travel to Japan.

Fun fact: he knows that the fear of long words is called hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia. He’s also known for being a top-notch hugger.

Sam

Junior Desktop Engineer
Sam is the newest member of the team, bringing fresh energy and a sense of humour that keeps the office lively.

He helps customers with their IT challenges while learning the ropes from his colleagues.

He’s a keen gamer, a fan of the anime series 86, and would love to explore the Canadian National Parks.
